HO-scale Athearn Genesis P42 (Sold out)

This was originally a DC-only model, which was upgraded to include an ESU V5 sound decoder along with a scale sound system custom premium speaker for more authentic sounds. It also has additional lighting effects such as working rear marker lights, which are not present on factory Tsunami models! The original box and packaging materials are included. 

Weathering Details 

• Automatically switching marker lights, so when you select the locomotive in reverse they turn on (independent of headlight and rear light functions)  
• Multi-tone wheel weathering with darker dirt accumulations across the outer surfaces due to centripetal forces.  
• Realistic semi-gloss body surfaces with flat dirt and weathering spots.   
• Detailed wheels and side frames with associated pin and panel lining and a two tone brown scheme.  
• Weathered to represent a model in regular service, with moderate dirt accumulations over the roof and ends.
• Detailed vent openings.  
• Mild soot collections at exhaust ports.  
• Dried and mild oil spill collections over the fuel tanks per prototype pictures.  
• Polyurethane coating to allow handling of the model without damaging the weathering.
